Do you have a hard time saying “no” to people?
Do you avoid conflict resolution?
Do you need to set healthier boundaries with others?
If you said “yes” to any of these questions then you could benefit from this workshop!
What are Boundaries?
Boundaries are things that mark a limit or border. Personal boundaries, including physical, emotional, relational, and intellectual boundaries, can be difficult to define or understand because they are unique to the individual.
The purpose of boundaries is to give us a sense of what is part of us and what is not; what we will allow and what we won’t; what we will choose to do and what we will choose not to do.
This program is designed to educate people in healthy boundaries. Different than a traditional support group, it is a psycho-educational opportunity to learn and grow toward holistic health for yourself and your relationships, through instruction, application, and brief discussions.
Participants will learn:
- Biblical truths about boundaries.
- How to evaluate the health of relationships.
- The common myths of setting boundaries.
- The long-term destructive consequences of failing to develop healthy boundaries.
- How to deal with others’ resistance to boundaries.
