About Me

Tracie VanEpps

There is no doubt life can be difficult. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, confusing or as if we are dealing with these situations alone. My office is your safe space. Whether you are dealing with a history of trauma, anxiety, family conflict, or other life matters, asking for help can be hard. You have already shown strength and courage by reaching out. Together we can work to make the changes you desire for yourself, your child, and your family unit. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques based on each individual’s needs and goals.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-LMSW, a certified school social worker-CSSW and a certified telehealth therapist. I am experienced using several therapeutic approaches including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), Mindfulness, and EFT (emotional freedom techniques). I also use the Healing Journey material, a Christian-based study, to rid the impact past traumas and hurts have in your current life. I have professional experience working with the Children and Family Services systems, courts, schools and individuals. When working with children I use a Family Systems approach, understanding that family members are interconnected and every person within a family has a role/influence within the family.

Whether you are a Christian or non-Christian, we were not meant to journey through life alone. Sometimes life gives us circumstances we are unsure how to handle and need guidance from others. Sometimes we feel the weight of our past experiences and feel we are not worthy or that we can never change. Romans 12:5- So we, though we are a number of persons, we are one body in Christ, and are dependent on one another. We are all interconnected with different strengths and skills and sometimes we need others to help show us how to manage some of life’s burdens.

I enjoy nature and spending time outdoors whether it is gardening, hiking, kayaking, and or lying in a hammock. I love to travel and experience all of God’s creation.

I am a mother of 5, a Grandma, and a Dog mom to a 3lb yorkiepoo.

Ephesians 5:8 “For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!”
